Gawky is one of the first and the best long fall jigs.

Gawky does not slide to the side after the uplifts. It simply wobbles during the fall and has medium falling speed. Lift slowly and softly and then drop. Try to lift slower than its falls. It is easy to use around the structures because it does not slide after the pitch. Best fishing rod setting is very soft. Soft action is obtained by increasing the weight of jigs over the standard jigging weight of the fishing rod.
